Hotel of the month: Aspire Hotel Sydney Aspire Hotel Sydney is one of Metro Hotels best kept secrets. Aspire is located in a leafy, quiet street in inner city suburb of Ultimo, offering the combined benefits of a quiet night’s sleep whilst being conveniently close to the Sydney CBD. The unique qualities of Aspire Hotel Sydney include spacious rooms and secure underground parking, providing a more comfortable stay and peace of mind. The hotel is within walking distance to a diverse range of attractions including Powerhouse Museum, Capitol Theatre, Chinatown, Paddy’s Markets, The Star Casino, Qantas Credit Union Arena (formerly Sydney Entertainment Centre), Cockle Bay Wharf and Darling Harbour as well as the trendy suburbs of Pyrmont and Glebe, which are peppered with restaurants and popular cafés. Also located nearby are University of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney and TAFE NSW. Meet Stephen: The general manager of Aspire Hotel Sydney is Stephen Nemetz, who has been with Metro Hotels, offering friendly, personalized service and accommodation to guests for seventeen years. He is also the general manager of Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour. His favourite Sydney attraction is the Sydney Sky Walk - part of the Sydney Tower Eye - which offers breathtaking views of the city, especially on a clear day at sunset. What activity would you recommend to guests coming to Sydney? A: I would recommend a walk from Woolloomooloo to Darling Harbour, I really like Mrs Macquarie's Chair Lookout and the Botanical Gardens. Metro Hotels in Sydney are offering super sizzling Hot Deals this winter and it is a perfect time to plan a short break in the city with so much to see and do during forthcoming season.
